About the Journal
Language in Communities, Education and Public Life publishes peer-reviewed research on language as a part of social life in multilingual settings. It studies how people use, learn, lose, and contest languages, and what those choices mean for education, work, law, health, and identity. The journal starts from South Asia and welcomes comparative work from anywhere in the world.
