Ownership and Funding
This page sets out the ownership, governance, and funding of Conference Proceedings in Science and Management (Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag.), in accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, WAME).
Owner and Publisher
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. is owned and published by SHORAM Editorial Services, a registered editorial house based in Manipal, Karnataka, India. SHORAM Editorial Services is the sole owner of the proceedings series. There are no other proprietors, parent companies, or controlling interests.
SHORAM Editorial Services is registered under the Government of India's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) framework, with Udyam Registration number UDYAM-KR-26-0060532 and NIC code 58132 (Publishing of Journals and Periodicals).
Governance
Editorial authority for Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. rests with the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief is appointed by SHORAM Editorial Services and operates with full editorial independence. Editorial decisions are made on the basis of scholarly merit and are not subject to commercial or proprietary direction by the publisher.
Peer review for each volume is conducted by the volume editors of the contributing conference, under standards set by the proceedings series, and is independently cross-checked by the Editorial Advisory Board and the Editor-in-Chief, who hold final authority over acceptance.
Editorial Independence
The publisher does not interfere with editorial decisions. Decisions on whether to publish a conference's proceedings, or on whether to issue corrections or retractions, are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on scholarly and ethical considerations alone.
Funding
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. is funded solely by Article Processing Charges paid by conference organizers. The full fee structure is published on the Open Access and APC page.
The proceedings series does not receive any of the following:
- Subscription revenue (the proceedings series is fully open access)
- Advertising revenue
- Sponsored content revenue
- Government grants or institutional subsidies
- Third-party funding that influences editorial decisions
Advertising Policy
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. does not carry advertising of any kind on the proceedings series website, in published volumes, or in editorial communications. The proceedings series does not accept paid placements, sponsored articles, or commercial endorsements.
Direct Marketing
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. does not engage in mass solicitation of authors or conference organizers. The proceedings series does not send unsolicited bulk email, does not purchase or use marketing lists, and does not employ aggressive recruitment tactics. All communications from Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. are sent in response to a specific inquiry, application, or existing professional relationship, and originate from the shoramedits.com domain.
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. does not pay finders' fees, referral commissions, or any other form of compensation to individuals, agents, or third parties for bringing in conferences, authors, or papers.
Conflicts of Interest at the Publisher Level
SHORAM Editorial Services declares no commercial or financial relationships with conferences, authors, institutions, or other publishers that would compromise the editorial independence of the proceedings series. Where the publisher has any pre-existing relationship with a proposed conference, for example, prior editorial work for an organizing institution, this is disclosed to the Editor-in-Chief at the proposal stage and recorded.
