No Fees for Conference Proposals
The submission of a conference proposal to Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. is free. Volume editors pay no fee to be evaluated. Fees apply only to accepted volumes, and only on a per-paper basis as set out below.
Article Processing Charges
Conference organizers, acting through the volume editors, pay an Article Processing Charge for each paper accepted into a Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. volume. APCs cover editorial cross-check, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration once active, permanent hosting, submission to indexing services, and long-term archiving.
Standard Rates
| Article type | APC |
|---|---|
| Proceeding Paper | USD 70 |
| Abstract | USD 30 |
| Editorial content (preface, Statement of Peer Review, Conference Report by volume editors) | Free |
Inaugural Rates
As an inaugural offer to early-adopting conferences, Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. applies the following discounted rates:
| Article type | APC |
|---|---|
| Proceeding Paper | USD 35 |
| Abstract | USD 15 |
| Editorial content (preface, Statement of Peer Review, Conference Report by volume editors) | Free |
The inaugural rate applies until Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. is indexed in Scopus, or for the first three years of publication, whichever comes earlier. Conferences whose proposals are accepted while the inaugural rate is in effect are invoiced at the inaugural rate, even if final publication occurs after the rate transitions.
Volume Discounts
Large conferences receive volume discounts on all paper fees, applied to whichever rate (standard or inaugural) is current at the time of acceptance:
- 30 or more papers: 10% reduction on all paper fees in the volume
- 60 or more papers: 20% reduction on all paper fees in the volume
Fee Waivers
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. is committed to equitable access to scholarly publishing. Full or partial fee waivers are available, on a case-by-case basis, for conferences and authors based in countries classified by the Research4Life eligibility framework as Group A or Group B, and for individual authors who can demonstrate genuine financial hardship. Waiver requests should be submitted at the volume proposal stage, accompanied by a brief explanation of need. Decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief.
Invoicing and Payment
Invoices are issued to the conference organizer after publication of all submissions in the volume is complete. Only official invoices issued by SHORAM Editorial Services from the shoramedits.com domain are valid. Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. does not authorize any third party to collect APCs on its behalf. SHORAM Editorial Services is the sole service provider for Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. and cannot be held liable for actions by third parties.
Applicable taxes will be added where required by law and where SHORAM Editorial Services is registered to collect them.
No Other Revenue
Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. is funded solely by the Article Processing Charges set out on this page. The proceedings series does not accept advertising, does not run sponsored content, and does not receive third-party funding that influences editorial decisions. The full ownership, governance, and funding policy is set out on the Ownership and Funding page.
Author Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted to deposit any version of their published article, including the final published version, in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and academic networking platforms, at any time after publication, with no embargo. The Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. self-archiving policy will be registered with Sherpa Romeo following the publication of the first volume.
Reuse of Published Work
Conference papers published in Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. may be developed further for publication as full journal articles elsewhere, provided the resulting article contains substantial new or previously unpublished material and the original Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. publication is properly cited. The published Conf. Proc. Sci. Manag. version remains the version of record for the original conference paper, and any reuse, citation, or derivative work must reference it. Authors are advised to confirm the policy of any subsequent journal regarding the inclusion of conference papers.
